- This is a very insulting remark, so I know you must be just kidding. Although a recent NBA ref got canned and faced trial for betting on games - the NFL guys fall into a different scenario. You need to know how they are selected to call in the NFL to start with.

- The ref's are wrong 50% of the time. Just ask the team that had the penalty called on them. If you think you know more about the rules or see more than the ref's do, try to walk on the field in their place. You have the value of instant replay and of course we all have 20/20 hindsight.

- Remember, the only official on the play was the ref, since all the other officials were on the line or in the end zone. Harrison is not that fast, but he was faster than the referee (the one guy with a white hat). It was bang bang. Give it up Card fans. Warner shouldn't have made the throw.

- I am a retired referee, so I look perhaps more carefully, at all the angles etc. Under the huge media spotlight, they did all right.
